My lifelong love for dogs truly blossomed after I retired from my career as a Nuclear Control Engineer. Seeking an active and fulfilling pursuit, I joined a ramblers group, enjoying the walks and social interaction. However, something was still missing. That's when I started looking after my friend's one-year-old Labrador, Sally, who shared my love for long walks. This quickly sparked an idea: combining my passion for dogs with my enjoyment of walking.
Soon, I was inundated with requests to walk other people's dogs. Before long, these requests evolved into overnight stays for dog owners to have weekend getaways, and then this evolved into extended holidays for a week or even longer away time. My longest stay to date was with Margarita, a lovely Beagle whose owners travelled to Japan for three weeks. By this time I was charging a small fee to cover my expenses and then Christopher T Dog Caring Services was born.

I ensure my furniture is protected with dog covers, and special covers are on my bedding, meaning there are no restrictions on where your dog can relax.
Should they wish, dogs are even free to sleep on the bed with me at night. This unique touch ensures your furry friend experiences a true home-away-from-home, where comfort and companionship are paramount.
