9. Monitoring health and welfare

Dogs will be monitored daily in order to make sure that they are fit and happy.  Any change in their poo’s will be noted and recorded.  In extreme case, the owner will be notified immediately. The health and wellbeing of your dog is the upmost importance to me.  If a dog returns from a walk in a very dirty condition, they will be washed clean by a warm water shower unit which I have fitted in my garage.  Then towel wiped dry.  During hot summer months, if the temperature rises above 25 C, then the curtains will be drawn to prevent the sun entering the living room and fans will be provided to help keep the dog’s cool.  Walking will be restricted to early morning and late evenings, with brief short grass walks during the day in order for them to have a pee and poo.
